Yoga-enhanced cognitive behavioural therapy is a new sleep-enhancement paradigm that combines the scientifically documented benefits of yoga and cognitive behavioral therapy.

People who struggle with anxiety are always prepared for the worst; they are prepared to fail. These negative thought processes create a negative tension in the body. The mind triggers the tension in the body, and the tension in the body fuels the negative thought.

Y-CBT blends the effective therapeutic components of cognitive behavioural therapy with the scientific teachings of yoga to help participants break the cycle of anxiety. It does this by targeting both the cognitive (thought) and physical symptoms of anxiety simultaneously.

The programme will help you create a neutral place that leaves self-judgment and criticism behind. Using gentle cognitive restructuring the participant learns to quiet negative self-talk of anxiety and worry, while also calming the body with restful yoga and soothing breathing techniques .

It will help you address the physical and psychological symptoms of anxiety to find lasting relief for both body and mind through our 6-week treatment program that provides you with a progressive treatment model. It teaches the necessary skills to impact the cognitive and physical symptoms of anxiety and busy mind syndrome so that you can get the sleep you need.

One hour consultation is 70 euro for this programme. On-line and in-person available.
